Step-by-Step Guide

Your Pathway to Success

Follow these steps to achieve your global medical career

Cost: $750 NZD
Duration: 2-4 months

Submit degree, transcripts, fieldwork hours, and curriculum to OTBNZ for equivalence assessment against NZ entry-level standards.

Cost: $400
Duration: 1-2 months

Achieve IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5, or OET Grade B in all subtests (minimum 350).

Cost: $1,500 NZD
Duration: 3-6 months

If gaps identified, complete a competency assessment including written exam and practical OSCE, or a period of supervised practice.

Cost: $500 NZD
Duration: 1 month

Upon meeting all requirements, OTBNZ grants registration and issues annual practicing certificate.
